Turf Maintenance
Turf, Putting Greens, and Landscape Lighting in Hickory, NC
Hickory homeowners want outdoor spaces that look clean, stay usable, and add real value to the property. That is exactly why so many families call us for synthetic turf, backyard putting greens, pet-friendly turf, and custom landscape lighting. Whether you are upgrading a shaded lawn that never grows right, freshening up a pool area, or building a golf practice space at home, we help you create something that looks great and lasts.
At Dream Greens NC, we focus on premium synthetic turf installations and specialty outdoor upgrades. We are a local dealer for Synthetic Turf International in North Carolina, and we use high-quality American-manufactured turf. We are not the cheapest option, and that is on purpose. We use better products, stronger base prep, and proven installation methods so your project holds up over time.
Built for the way Hickory homeowners live
Hickory is known for beautiful homes, active families, and outdoor living. From backyard entertaining to quiet evenings by the pool, your yard should be easy to enjoy without the constant hassle of mowing, mud, bare spots, or worn-out grass. Synthetic lawn turf gives you a clean, green look with far less maintenance. If you love golf, a custom putting green gives you a place to practice at home and enjoy the backyard in a whole new way. And with the right landscape lighting, your property stays useful and attractive after the sun goes down.
We also understand that every yard in Hickory is different. Some properties have shade issues. Others have slopes, tight access, pet traffic, or space limits. We take the time to look at the site, talk through your goals, and recommend the right design for your space and budget.

What makes our process different
We start with a real conversation. When you call Dream Greens NC, we learn about your project, talk through the space, and give you a ballpark price range when enough information is available. From there, we schedule a site visit to measure and prepare a formal estimate.
For qualified putting green projects, we can create free drone-based renderings using overhead photos of your actual yard. That helps you see the shape, layout, and number of holes before we build. It also helps make sure the design fits the space. For example, if a customer wants a very high number of holes in a small area, we will be honest and recommend a layout that actually works.
Once you approve the estimate, we collect a down payment to secure your spot on the schedule and begin ordering materials. After installation, we complete a final walkthrough and punch list so the project is finished the right way.
Why Hickory customers choose us
Premium materials – We use high-quality American-made synthetic turf designed for long-term durability and appearance.
Specialized expertise – We are not a general landscaper trying to do turf on the side. This is what we do.
Custom design support – Free consultation and drone-based putting green renderings for qualified projects.
Honest recommendations – We design around your yard, your goals, and what will perform best.
Strong post-install support – If something goes wrong that is not your fault, call us. We stand behind our work and will come inspect it.
Repair planning built in – We leave a remnant piece of turf from the same dye lot for future repairs if needed.
Common questions we hear in Hickory
Why is your quote sometimes higher than a landscaper's?
Because we use better turf products, stronger installation methods, and custom design work that many others do not offer. Our goal is not to be the cheapest. Our goal is to give you a finished project that looks better and lasts longer.
Can turf work where grass will not grow?
Yes, that is one of the most common reasons people call us. Turf is a smart choice for shaded yards, muddy spots, worn areas, and places around pools where natural grass struggles.
Can you show us what a putting green will look like first?
Yes. For qualified projects, we provide free drone-based renderings over your actual yard so you can review the layout before installation.
What if the turf gets damaged later?
Call us. If the damage was not caused by you, we will come back to inspect it and make it right. We have even repaired punctures from fallen tree branches years later. We want you to have peace of mind long after the install is done.
